Our President and CEO Ken Podziba went to the Tokyo Cycling Summit with Susi Wunsch (of Velojoy fame) and Jon Orcutt (former NYC DOT Policy Director), meeting with the Japanese Cycling Association and other officials there to discuss Tokyo’s bright future as a bike friendly city. Everyone at the Summit was impressed with Bike New York’s efforts to empower New Yorkers to ride safely and confidently through education, and Ken was even invited to speak  at the start of the Tokyo City Cycling Ride (Tokyo’s version of the Five Boro Bike Tour)!
