E-bike Skills 201

Are you e-bike curious? Bike New York and Citi Bike are partnering to offer E-bike Skills 201. Here’s your chance to try out a Citi Bike and sharpen your e-bike prowess! Participants will learn how to fit a bike helmet, how to perform an ABCD Check on the bike, and how to use their cell-phone apps to unlock the bikes. On-bike skills include safe starting and stopping, using leg power to regulate motor power, how to use hand signals while maintaining control, and how to scan over your shoulder while riding in a straight line.

Note: This class is for adults and teens 16 and up; participants must have good bike handling skills. This class is not for beginner cyclists or people who just learned to ride a bike.
